Giving Children the Best Start in Life

Are you a Parent in need of Support?

Home-Start Cheshire may be able to help you if you:

  • live in Cheshire (currently excluding Chester & Ellesmere Port)
  • have one or more pre-school children
  • are experiencing difficulty and need a little practical help and/or emotional support

You may be offered support through a volunteer visiting you at home or

you may wish to attend one of the Family Groups

A Mum who had support says…..

“….you have given me friendship, help, advice and the support I really needed. Before Home-Start my life was in turmoil. I suffered from depression, low self-esteem, no confidence and I felt isolated ….. I had hit rock bottom. Home-Start helped kick-start the beginnings of a new chapter in my life.”

If you are a parent looking for support, please phone us on 01606 606441, send us a message via our Contact Page, email us or ask your Health Visitor to make a referral. Someone will contact you, ask a few questions and arrange to visit you to discuss what issues your family is having to deal with, what support is needed and how we may be able to help you. Home-Start Cheshire is an independent and confidential volunteer service – we only support you at your request.

For more information on what you can expect from Home-Start Cheshire please see our information sheet.
